How would I look with a hair transplant?

Guide · 4-minute read

If you're considering a hair transplant, the question that weighs most isn't the price or the technique — it's "how would I actually look?". Other patients' photos help, but they can't answer it: they're not your face, your hairline or your hair type. AI can now answer it properly — with a single photo of you.

What is an AI hair transplant simulator?

It's a tool that takes one photo of you (front or crown) and generates, on your own image, a realistic visualization of how you'd look with restored hair. Unlike a filter or a digital wig, a good simulator keeps your face, your haircut, your exact hair color and the original photo's lighting — it only fills in the thinning areas.

How it works (in 30 seconds)

In HairLo's simulator, installed on the clinic's own site, the flow is: upload a well-lit photo, answer two quick questions, and the AI generates the restored scenario on your own image: hairline and crown filled in, keeping your same hairstyle, length and colour. If the result isn't quite right, you can regenerate it up to two more times.

How to tell if a simulation is realistic

The limits (what a simulation is NOT)

An AI visualization is illustrative, not a medical promise. It doesn't replace a specialist's assessment of your donor area, the cause of your hair loss and how many grafts are viable in your case. Use it for what it's genuinely good at: deciding with better information whether to take the consultation step — and arriving with realistic expectations.

Run a hair clinic?

HairLo also exists as a white-label widget for transplant clinics: your prospects see themselves with hair on your own website — and that visceral proof is what turns visitors into booked consultations. Plans from $97/month.
