This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") governs your use of HairLo ("HairLo", "we", "us", or "our"), our AI hair-visualization tool, embeddable widget, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). It applies to everyone who uses the Services, including clinics that embed our widget and the end users who upload photos through it. By using the Services, you agree to this Policy. This Policy supplements our Terms of Service.
HairLo is only for previewing realistic hair-restoration results on a person's own photo. Any sexual, pornographic, or otherwise NSFW use is strictly prohibited, as is uploading anyone's photo without their consent, uploading images of minors, or any illegal or harmful use.
1. Permitted Use
The Services are intended solely to generate illustrative, AI-assisted before/after hair-restoration visualizations from a photo that you own or are authorized to use, for personal or legitimate clinical/consultation purposes.
2. Prohibited Content and Conduct
You must NOT use the Services to upload, generate, request, or attempt to produce any of the following, and you must not otherwise engage in the following conduct:
- Sexual or NSFW content. Any adult, sexual, pornographic, sexually explicit, nude, or otherwise "not safe for work" (NSFW) content, or any attempt to sexualize a person or produce sexualized imagery of any individual.
- Content involving minors. Any photo of a minor (anyone under 18), and any content that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits a minor in any way.
- Non-consensual imagery. Photos of any person uploaded without that person's explicit consent, including images used to impersonate, deceive, harass, defame, or create misleading depictions of a real person.
- Illegal, harmful, or hateful content. Any content or use that is unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, defamatory, harassing, abusive, threatening, or that promotes violence, self-harm, hate, or discrimination against any person or group.
- Deceptive medical claims. Presenting AI-generated visualizations as medical assessments, guarantees of outcome, or actual photographs of real results.
- Abuse of the Services. Reverse engineering, scraping, or attempting to derive the underlying models or technology; using bots or automated means without authorization; circumventing safety filters; or interfering with or attempting unauthorized access to the Services or related systems.
3. AI-Generated Content
Visualizations are generated with the assistance of a third-party AI model (Google Gemini) and are illustrative and approximate only. They are not photographs, not medical advice, and not a guarantee of any result. You are responsible for how you use, save, or share any output, and for ensuring your use complies with this Policy and applicable law.
4. Enforcement
We may use automated and manual measures to detect and prevent prohibited content. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and without notice, to remove content, restrict features, refuse service, suspend or terminate access, and report unlawful activity (including any content involving the exploitation of minors) to the appropriate authorities. Violations of this Policy may also result in termination of a clinic's subscription without refund.
5. Reporting Abuse
If you become aware of any use of the Services that violates this Policy, please report it to support@hairloai.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and the "Last updated" date below will reflect the revision. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
